My name is Samantha and I have a passion for making healthy foods taste delicious. I plan on using this space to post recipes, nutrition advice and mindset tips that I hope you will enjoy.

My health and wellness journey has gone through many phases before landing where I am today. Growing up I was overweight and in my teen and early adulthood years I tried every diet out there. From low fat, vegan, paleo, whole 30, low carb… I even had high hopes for the cabbage soup diet and master cleanse to shed pounds. All these plans left me feeling depleted and drained, ultimately gaining all the weight back plus interest.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I stumbled across macro counting and flexible dieting. I became so interested in nutrition and how I could successfully drop the same 15lbs I had been gaining and losing for years in a sustainable way.
I realized any “diet” that made it difficult to eat dinner with my family or go out to eat was not going to last long term. Education about macros and adjustments I could make in any eating scenario were key to my success.
I spent a lot of time during the pandemic in my kitchen trialing different recipes and how I could make them macro-friendly for weight loss… which I am so excited to share on this blog! HOPE YOU ENJOY xx
