I LOVE DESSERT. I love dessert so much that I have some sort of treat every night before bed, even when in a calorie deficit. If you don’t eat anything after dinner, I am in complete awe of you (seriously, it could never be me).
While in a fat loss phase where my calorie budget is tighter, I’ve had to get creative in how I can still enjoy a sweet treat without breaking the calorie bank. This recipe is a staple in our house for the following reasons:
- It’s so easy you really can’t mess it up
- The entire house smells amazing while it’s baking
- You can easily customize the toppings for different members of your household; e.g. I often choose whipped cream as a lighter option but my husband can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream
- It’s nutritious and delicious 🙂
